Pop group Danity Kane has settled their battle with Louis Vuitton. LVMH took issue with the use of Louis Vuitton trademarks used on the debut album and in related videos. The song "Show Stopper" includes the lyrics: "Bet you ain't never seen, Chicks ridin' this clean, Louis Vuitton seats, We do it deadly." As part of the settlement, P. Diddy's Bad Boy Records has agreed to remove all visual references to Louis Vuitton trademarks and make available amended versions of the album and video without the Louis Vuitton images.
LVMH is famously protective of their brand. . Louis Vuitton sued Britney Spears over use of a Vuitton-embroidered dashboard in a video and last December, legal action from both Gucci and LVMH prevented rapper T.I. from releasing his "Swing Ya Rag" video which highlighted both Gucci and Louis Vuitton products. Both brands are mentioned in the song's lyrics. Perhaps singers just need to stop singing about brand names for a while, certain luxury brands don't seem to enjoy the free publicity.

This week, rumors swirled that F1 racer Lewis Hamilton had bought himself a fancy new Sunseeker 90 yacht. They said he was painting the 90-foot yacht black and silver silver to match his McLaren racer. The Sun even has a picture of the sleek black ship.
But if he is buying a yacht he's certainly not admitting it. His website has a statement that says simply "Contrary to unreliable reports, Lewis Hamilton would like to confirm that he has not bought a super yacht. " Hamilton, who dates Nicole Scherzinger, lead singer of The Pussycat Singers, is currently at Formula One training in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain. -

From Cityfile New York (via Gawker):
Comedian D.L. Hughley was pummeled by critics when his weekend talk show debuted on CNN last fall. "What the hell was CNN thinking?" a columnist for AdAge asked after watching the first episode. It remains unclear what was running through the minds of CNN execs when they signed him up for the spectacularly unfunny program featuring painfully awkward interviews. But the network may have come to its senses or at least decided to cut its losses. A source tells us that CNN has decided to cancel the show due to "budgetary constraints." We haven't heard back yet from reps at CNN, although the move wouldn't be surprising given CNN's troubles as of late and the fact that HLN (the network you used to know as Headline News) is now "beating its older sibling CNN in the target 25-54 demo," according to Broadcasting & Cable. We'll let you know as soon as we hear more.
CNN has stated that they will continue to work with DL's unfunny ass as a contributor.
Of course, none of this would have happened if it had been Aisha Tyler or Wanda Sykes. But, don't listen to me, CNN. Pick the guy who struggles to formulate complete sentences and is best known for making fun of people who have the audacity to sit in the front row of his shows.

If you are a cat lover, it is time to gang up against the most annoying gadget ever. This is supposed to be a cat tail USB gadget that is a faux cat tail. In any case, it annoys me to see a gadget that is made of a supposed dismembered cat.
I would instead like to see a dog’s head gadget that I could show all my dog loving friends especially a lowly weed that claims to be a monster. This USB gadget comes with a 2GB space and would be enough to store all your hate filled files that you would never show anyone.
Damn, I curse the guy who designed this vile gadget and made a fool of himself. I would say, never get this gadget if you love your cat dearly. This gadget must be the most anti animal and cruel gadget I have ever seen. Nevertheless, pass the word around so let people know how the world is against us cat lovers.

Sometimes mechanical guys need to carry a lot of tools and the tools could begin to rust and get screwed when the environment is not cooperative enough. In such a case, one would need to take care of his tools cautiously. You could try the Pelican’s Mobile Tool Chest which lets you carry all your tools but also offers immense safety and protection.
It is designed to survive rough handling and tough environments. The 0450 Mobile Tool Chest is a amazing storage device which is a little too expensive at $500 but makes up for the loss by looking cool and doing what it needs to do, safeguard your tools.
The chest protects your tools from dust, air, cold, heat and other environmental hazards. It also comes with automatic pressure equalization valve and an o-ring seal which make sure that your tools are as comfy as a flea in a furry animal. I would most certainly suggest this cool chest if you can afford that kind of money.

May 12th, 2009UncategorizedBuying a luxury yacht can cost millions of dollars. Just about every part of a luxury yacht can be customized to meet the needs of its owner which only increases the overall price of the yacht even more. Anyone who is considering buying a luxury yacht will want to spend a good amount of time researching the vessel they are interested in before making the purchase. This will ensure that you are getting exactly what you want without having buyer's remorse afterwards.
Luxury yachts can vary quite a bit. Some yachts are so extravagant and large they have earned the nickname mega yachts. Spend some time taking tours of the various yachts that are for sale and get familiar with the different layouts and features that each one provides. See if there is something specific that you like or do not like to help guide your buying decision.
Many people like to have their luxury yacht built to their own specifications. If you have decided which features that you know you want your luxury yacht to have you can incorporate them into the design. Keep in mind that if you buy a custom luxury yacht like this you can expect to pay a considerable amount of money for it.
Features You May Want To Consider When Buying A Luxury Yacht
There are a number of different features that you can find on a luxury yacht. One of the features that just about every modern day luxury yacht will have is a sophisticated global positioning system, or GPS. This system will be the navigation that your yacht will use when travelling from location to location on your trip. The degree of sophistication that the GPS might have can vary.
Air conditioning is another feature that you are likely to want to make sure the luxury yacht that you buy has. Nobody wants to be cruising around the Caribbean in sweltering heat that could make the trip less enjoyable. Refrigeration is another key element to make your trip more enjoyable. Make sure the luxury yacht has adequate room to store plenty of food for the trips you plan on taking.
One of the most important things you will want to look at is how many staterooms are available for you and your guests. Think about the number of people who are likely to accompany you on the different travels that you take. Also keep in mind the crew quarters that are available on the yacht. Luxury yachts generally have a decent sized crew that needs a place to stay as well.
